Terms and conditions: VIP Viva Ulitmate 12 days of Christmas

1. Information on how to enter the promotion forms part of the conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed as acceptance of its terms and conditions.

2. Entry is free and open to residents of New Zealand aged 18 years or older. Employees of the Promoters, the Promoters' associated companies, the Promoters' agencies and partners associated with this promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.

3. How to Enter: Entry into the Viva promotion requires a person to complete the online entry form in full and submit ("Eligible entrants")

4. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, APN collects personal information and the Promoter holds personal information to conduct the giveaway, notify prize winners, verify prize winners' identities and may be used by the Promoter, for future promotional activities. Individuals have rights to access and request correction of their personal information held by APN by calling APN New Zealand on 09 373 6400. Failure to provide all requested personal information may result in the entry being invalid.

5. Entrants and e-newsletter subscribers are identified by the email address used to subscribe. Any prize won by a web entrant will be awarded to the holder of the email address (or that person's parent/guardian if the winner(s) is/are under 18 and the nature of the prize requires the winner(s) to be over 18 years of age) from which that entry was submitted. The Promoter takes no responsibility for disputes resulting from email newsletter subscriptions and entries submitted using an email address belonging to any other person.

6. The Promoters reserve the right to withdraw this promotion or any part of this promotion should their ability to fulfil due obligations be limited at any stage by any form of technical failure.

7. Eligible Entrants are limited to one entry in the promotion per day. Five (5) bonus entries can be earned by entering a DFS Galleria receipt number while entering or by completing an entry form in-store. The bonus entries are only added for the prize draw that is relevant on the day. Any additional entries will be invalid.

8. Entries must be received by the Promoters during the Promotional Period. The Promoters accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.

9. Promotion commences at 12.01am Friday 13 December and will finish at 11.59pm Tuesday 24 December, 2013 ("Promotional Period").

10. Daily prize draws run from 12.01am to 11.59pm on the respective day. Entries received within this period will go in the draw for the respective day's prize.

The High tea is valued at $250 and the guest will have their own waiter. The personal shopping experience is valued at $250. The $500 DFS gift certificate is subject to the terms and conditions on the gift certificate.
d. December 16, 2013: One (1) winner will be drawn. 12. All winners will be drawn and notified week commencing 13 January, 2014. Prizes will be dispatched week commencing 20 January, 2014.

13. Winners will be notified by phone, email or post. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or service and no exchange communications will be entered into. Winners will be randomly drawn. Inability to contact the winner by the close of business Friday 24 January, 2014 will result in the prize being forfeited and another winner drawn.

14. Each entrant agrees that, if he or she wins a prize, his or her details (including name, suburb/town, and photo) may be published in the Herald (print and/or online) and used for other publicity purposes.

15. All entries are deemed received at the time of receipt by APN's database and NOT at time of transmission by the entrant. APN's records are conclusive as to time of receipt. Late, misdirected, illegal, incomplete or illegible, are invalid. APN is not responsible for such entries nor for any error, technical malfunction, loss, omission, communications delay or failure.

16. The Promoter reserves the right to vary the terms, and to modify, terminate or reschedule the Competition, and to substitute any of the prizes for a similar prize of the same value.

The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury (including and without limitation any indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the Competition and prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
