2. Entry is open to NZ Residents only. Anyone employed by (and any immediate family member
of someone employed) APN, all sponsors of the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards, and any agencies associated with these companies or with the promotion are ineligible to enter. APN is APN New Zealand Limited (and it's related companies). If the winner of the prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent(s) or guardian(s).
3. Entries close 5pm, Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Readers may enter as many times as they like, each entry will cost 20c. The draw will take place on Thursday, September 30, 2010.
4. The entrant must currently hold a ticket to the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards 2010 and be prepared to quote their ticket number if they are randomly drawn out as the promotions winner.
5. The first entry randomly drawn and who can prove they have a ticket to the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards 2010 will win the "Upgrade and be a VIP at the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards" prize package, which is; 1) 2x VIP tickets to the VNZMA's at Vector Arena on Thursday, October 9, 2010; 2) Entry for four to the Pacific Blue Departure Party at The Langham, Auckland before the awards; 3) Transportation to Red Carpet at Vector Arena; 4) Entry to the Official After Party at Vector Arena; 5) make up done by M.A.C Cosmetics before the awards; 6) Schwarzkopf Professional hair product to the value of $200; 7) one nights luxury accommodation in a king executive room at The Langham, Auckland on Thursday, October 7; with breakfast the following morning; 8) between four and six bottles of glacéau vitaminwater in the hotel room mini-bar fridge.
6. Ticket holders must be 18 years or older. All timings subject to change without notice. No ticket, no entry. Transportation from The Langham, Auckland to Vector Arena will be in one of the VNZMA fleet of vehicles and the timing is at the direction of the event organiser.
7. All costs, charges and expenses, including, without limitation, transportation, medical expenses, hotel transfers, travel insurance, items of a personal nature, meals and beverages, government taxes or levies, laundry, telephone calls, additional nights or room upgrades etc., are the sole responsibility of the winner or his/her guests.
8. If any part of the prize is not used, for any reason beyond the organisers' control, no compensation will be awarded to the winner or to his/her guest.
9. Prize is not redeemable for cash. Any attempt to resell or auction all or part of this prize will result in immediate cancellation of the prize.
10. The prize-winner will be notified by phone. If the prize is not claimed within 2 days of the draw, APN may re-draw a new winner of the prize. APN's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. APN is not liable for any loss, damage or injury (including without limitation indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the promotion or any prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. All entries are deemed received at the time of receipt by APN. APN's records are conclusive as to time of receipt. Late, lost, stolen, misdirected, illegal, incomplete, illegible, damaged, reproduced, or altered entries are invalid. APN is not responsible for such entries nor for any error, technical malfunction, loss, omission, communications delay or failure.
13. APN reserves the right to vary these Terms or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion.
14. APN reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry. APN may disqualify any person who tampers with the process or fails to comply with these Terms.
15. Entries become the property of APN. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, APN collects and holds personal information to conduct the promotion, notify prize winners and verify verify prize winners' identities and the information may be used for future promotional activities. Individuals have rights to access and request correction of their personal information held by APN by calling 0800 100 888. Failure to provide all requested personal information might result in the entry being invalid.
16. By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the promoter using his/her details and photographs for promotional and media publicity purposes.
