Terms and Conditions for "Win the Ultimate Silver Ferns Prize Pack!"

TERMS and CONDITIONS


1. Information on How to Enter and all details on the competition ad form part of these Terms. To the extent of any inconsistency, the Terms below prevail. By entering, readers accept these Terms. Entry is open to all New Zealand residents except employees of Netball New Zealand and APN New Zealand Ltd involved in this promotion and their immediate families, including household members. In the event that an entrant is aged 17 or under and wins the prize, the prize will need to be claimed by a parent or guardian. It is a condition of entry that winners, or if the winner is under the age of 18, their parent or guardian, may be required to sign acceptance of these Terms and Conditions prior to claiming any prize.


2. Entries close 5pm, Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Readers may enter as many times as they like, but each entry must contain an original entry coupon (no photocopies accepted). The draw will take place on Friday 21st of August at The New Zealand Herald, and the winners will be contacted by phone. If the prize is not claimed within 2 days of the draw, APN may re-draw a new winner of the prize. APN's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

3. There will be one winner receiving a Silver Ferns Grand Prize featuring four tickets to the Silver Ferns V World 7 test at the Trust Stadium Arena, Waitakere on Saturday, 29 August 2009; a New World voucher to the value of $500; an autographed Fisher & Paykel bar fridge; an autographed 2009 Silver Ferns match ball; and $100 worth of Vodafone airtime.

4. The bar fridge will be available to take away at the conclusion of the match. A Netball New Zealand official will contact you in regards to collecting the bar fridge

6. There are 15 runner-up prizes consisting of a double pass to the Silver Ferns V World 7 test at the Trust Stadium Arena, Waitakere.

7. Please note, travel and accommodation is not included in the prize pack

8. Prize is not negotiable nor redeemable for cash. Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the prize winner is unable to use the prize as stated. Any attempt to resell or auction all or part of this prize will result in immediate cancellation of the prize.

9. APN and Netball New Zealand, its advertising agencies and partners are not liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss, damage or suffered by any person in connection with the promotion or any prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. APN reserves the right to vary these Terms or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion.

11. APN reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry. APN may disqualify any person who tampers with the process or fails to comply with these Terms.

12. Entries become the property of APN. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, APN collects and holds personal information to conduct the promotion, notify prize winners and verify verify prize winners' identities and the information may be used for future promotional activities. Individuals have rights to access and request correction of their personal information held by APN by calling 0800 100 888. Failure to provide all requested personal information might result in the entry being invalid.

13. By accepting the prize, the winners consent to the use of their names, identities and/or photographs for promotional purposes, in all media, and in future Netball New Zealand / Silver Ferns promotions without additional compensation and the winners must make themselves available for this purpose.
