Terms and conditions: BDO Shihad experience

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.

2. Entry is free and open to residents of New Zealand aged 15 years or older. Employees of the Promoters, the Promoters' associated companies, the Promoters' agencies and partners associated with this promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.

3. Entrants must hold a Big Day Out ticket in order to enter - as must the friend they choose to attend the event with them.

4. The Promoters reserve the right to withdraw this promotion or any part of this promotion should their ability to fulfill due obligations be limited at any stage by any form of technical failure. IMPORTANT: All side of stage experiences are conditional on the side of stage being available to the promoter during the relevant performance. Entrants acknowledge and accept that if the side of stage is shut down by stage or artist management, the side of stage experience will not be able to proceed. Entrants agree that they will have no recourse to or against the promoter if the side of stage experience cannot proceed for this reason.

5. To enter the promotion, entrants must provide their full name and current and valid email address, as well as a BDO 2011 ticket number ("Eligible Entrants").

6. Eligible Entrants are limited to one entry in the promotion. Any subsequent entry after the first valid entry received from an eligible entrant will be invalid.

7. Entries must be received by the Promoters during the Promotional Period. The Promoters accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.

8. Promotion commences at 2pm on Thursday 13 January and will finish at 3pm on Thursday 20 January ("Promotional Period").

9. The prize draw will be held on Thursday 20 January at 3:15pm.

10. The winner will be notified by telephone or email. Inability to contact the winner within 10 hours of the prize draw will result in prize being forfeited.

11. There is one prize consisting of two passes to watch Shihad's set at BDO 2011 from the side of the main stage. BDO tickets are NOT included as part of the prize.

12. The Promoters' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

13. The prize is not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be taken for cash.

14. The winners consent to their names being used for public relations purposes relating to this promotion.

15. By ticking the optional box "I am happy for APN (publishers of nzherald.co.nz) to email me information and promotions that may be of interest", entrants acknowledge that they are agreeing to receive future emailed communications from the Promoters. Entrants' personal information will be stored on a database by the Promoters. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoters at the addresses set out below.
