HOW TO ENTER
Purchase the Herald on Sunday between 13.12.09 and 27.12.09, and fill in one of the entry coupons appearing in Sunday Detours. Fill in the coupon with your name, address and phone number and mail it to Win a Luxury Cruise, Herald on Sunday, PO Box 32, Auckland to reach us by December 31. No photocopied coupons accepted; each entry must be in a separate envelope.
TERMS OF ENTRY
1. Information on How to Enter and all details on the entry form (and at point of sale form part of these Terms. To the extent of any inconsistency, the Terms below prevail. By entering, you accept these Terms.
2. The prize is for two people travelling together to Sydney in economy class from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch and a seven-night Royal Caribbean cruise onboard the Rhapsody of the Seas in an outside cabin. Includes all main meals onboard and gratuities. Drinks are excluded. Cruise departs Sydney on November 27, 2010. Airpoints can not be accrued on travel. Costs outside of the package listed above will be at the travellers' expense, including visas and passports, sightseeing and departure tax (if appropriate). Any additional accommodation, meals and/or drinks are also at the travellers' expense. Competition entrants must be 18 years or over to qualify and the prize is non-refundable nor redeemable for cash. Employees of any travel agency, airline or Flight Centre and members of the employees immediate family are not eligible to enter. Judges decision is final.
3. Entry is open to NZ residents only. Anyone employed by (and any immediate family member of someone employed by) APN or Cruiseabout or any agencies associated with the promotion or NZ Herald retailers, is ineligible to enter. APN is APN New Zealand Limited (and its related companies).
4. Winners will be notified by phone. If a prize is not claimed within 24 hours of a draw APN may re-draw a new winner of that prize. APN's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prize cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or service and no exchange communications will be entered into. Non-winning entries will not be carried forward into any subsequent prize draws.
5. Neither APN nor Cruiseabout are liable for any loss, damage or injury (including without limitation indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the promotion or any prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
6. All entries are deemed received at the time of receipt by APN . APN's records are conclusive as to time of receipt. Late, lost, stolen, misdirected, illegal, incomplete, illegible, damaged, reproduced, or altered entries are invalid. APN is not responsible for such entries nor for any error, technical malfunction, loss, omission, communications delay or failure.
7. APN reserves the right to vary these Terms or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion.
8. APN reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry. APN may disqualify any person who copies a coupon or otherwise tampers with the process or fails to comply with these Terms.
9. Entries become the property of APN and Cruiseabout. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, APN collects and holds personal information to conduct the promotion, notify prize winners, verify prize winners' identities and may be used for APN and Cruiseabout's future promotional activities, including (where consented to) sending the entrant emails and/or text messages. Individuals have rights to access and request correction of their personal information held by APN by calling 0800 100 888. Failure to provide all requested personal information may result in the entry being invalid.
10. Each entrant agrees that, if he or she wins a prize, his or her details (including name, suburb/town, and photo) will be published in the Herald on Sunday (print and/or online) and used for other publicity purposes.
