Support the Red Puppy Appeal (26 - 28 March)

The Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind's (RNZFB's) Red Puppy Appeal is on from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th March.

During the Red Puppy Appeal, the RNZFB aims to raise more than $1 million to fund its Guide Dog Services. Guide dogs are provided to RNZFB members for free, but each guide dog costs over $22,500 to breed, raise, train and match to a blind person and the RNZFB receives no funding from the Government to make this happen.

And, as if gorgeous puppies weren't sweet enough, this year's Red Puppy Appeal has added a further touch of sweetness with the release of the Red Puppy Cookie Cutter. Look out for the Red Puppy Appeal street collectors who will have these puppy-shaped cookie cutters available for a $5 donation.
