Charities line up for new Corollas
A total of 300 charities from all parts of the country have already submitted nominations to be one of the lucky 25 to receive free use of a new Toyota Corolla for three years. From today the public can vote for their favourite nominated charity through Facebook in Toyota's "25 Ways to Say Thanks" initiative.
With a busy start to nominations and more coming in, those putting their names forward include everything from sports clubs to environmental groups. There are 73 community and social service charities nominated followed by health (64) and education and research (48).
Toyota New Zealand General Manager of Marketing, Neeraj Lala says nominations are coming in from all around the country including Northland and Auckland (55 nominations), Waikato (39), Canterbury (24), Bay of Plenty, Taranaki/Manawatu, Otago/Southland, Wellington, Hawkes Bay and Marlborough/West Coast.
