Cure Kids auction helping kids like Finn
Finn Corbin is the son of Fonterra farmers Ben and Jen Corbin from the Waikato. Finn was diagnosed with hypoplastic right heart (a condition where the right side of his heart did not develop properly) when Jen was 20 weeks pregnant. When he was born in 2009, he was taken to the NICU, where at just four days old, he had his first open-heart surgery. The family spent the first six months of Finn's life in Hospital before they could take him home.
He has now had over 20 surgeries throughout his life, the last was when he was three years old. Now eight, he loves school, helping his Mum and Dad on the farm, and is an ambassador for the Cure Kids charity.
