Terms and Conditions of Entry for The New Zealand Herald Mobil Nissan Qashqai Competition:

1.Information on how to enter and all details and instructions appearing on the entry form and at point of sale, form part of the terms and conditions of entry to this Competition. To the extent of any inconsistency, the Terms and Conditions below will prevail.

2.Entry into this Competition indicates an acceptance and agreement of all these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions you should not enter the Competition.

3.Entry is open to NZ residents only. Anyone employed by (or anyone who is an immediate family member of someone employed by) APN New Zealand Limited or its related companies ("NZ Herald"), Mobil's service station dealers (including, without limitation independent dealers, lease dealers, franchisees, and commission agents) and employees of Mobil Oil New Zealand Limited or its related companies, Nissan New Zealand Ltd, agencies associated with the Competition are ineligible to enter. Failure to provide all requested personal information at the time of submitting an entry may result in the entry being invalid. If the main prize winner drawn is under the age of 18 years (or doesn't have a valid New Zealand driver's licence) the prize may be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian. Proof of identity and age may be required.

4.To enter, purchase The New Zealand Herald or Herald on Sunday, any day from Tuesday, April 21 2009 until Monday, May 18, 2009, at participating Mobil-branded outlets:

a.place a completed 'Buy the Herald and WIN a Nissan Qashqai' entry form with an attached proof of purchase (receipt) into the designated entry box at any participating Mobil branded outlet; or

b.send your completed 'Buy the Herald and WIN a Nissan Qashqai' entry form with an attached original proof of purchase
(receipt) to 'Buy the Herald and WIN a Nissan Qashqai' , The New Zealand Herald, Marketing Level 1, PO Box 3290, Auckland City, 1140. In-store entries must be received by midnight Monday, May 18, 2009. .Postal entries must be received by 5pm Friday, May 22, 2009. Entrants may enter as often as they wish, but each entry must be on a separate entry form provided at the point of purchase and accompanied by a separate original proof of purchase (receipt).

5.Each completed and valid entry form will be entered into the draw to win. Entries not complying with these Terms and Conditions, and any late,lost, stolen, misdirected, illegal, incomplete, illegible, damaged, reproduced, or altered entries, will be deemed invalid. NZ Herald reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry.

6.Prize Details: One prizewinner will win a Nissan Qashqai vehicle and all on-road costs including 12 months registration, in the name of the prizewinner. The colour of the Nissan Qashqai model shown on promotional material may differ to the prize vehicle. Insurances are the
responsibility of the winner. The vehicle hand over will take place at the nearest Nissan Centre to the winner at a time suitable to all parties. Approximate retail VALUE NZD $35.000.00.

7.The prize draw will take place on or before Friday, June 19, 2009.

8.The winner will be notified by phone and confirmed in writing within 3 working days of the prize draw. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of the prize draw, the winner will forfeit the prize and a redraw will be made.

9.It is the winner's responsibility to cover any additional costs associated with the prize.

10.The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

11.Prizes are not exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash. The New Zealand Herald reserves the right to vary the terms, and to modify,
terminate or reschedule the Competition, and to substitute any of the prizes to a similar prize of the same value.

12.NZ Herald (and its related companies) and any other person or party associated with this promotion accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected mail and will not be liable to any person in any way in relation to this Competition or the prize(s) (including but not limited to personal injury and indirect or consequential loss) except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Each person who enters the Competition acknowledges that no representations as to the quality or fitness for purpose of the prize has been made by NZ Herald or any representative of the NZ Herald.

14.All entries become the property of NZ Herald. NZ Herald collects and holds personal information provided with each entry, to be used to notify prize winner, to verify prize winner's identity and, if you have ticked the relevant boxes on the entry form, The New Zealand Herald and/or Nissan New Zealand may be used for future promotional activities. Under the Privacy Act 1993, all individuals have rights to access and request correction of their personal information held by The NZ Herald at 46 Albert Street, Auckland by contacting NZ Herald on 0800 100 888 during business hours.

15.The winner's name and photo may be used for publicity purposes and by accepting the prize the winner must make himself/herself available for this purpose. The promoter is APN New Zealand Limited.
