KEY POINTS:
The 19-year-old Hamilton man taken to Waikato Hospital on Wednesday night with severe burns after climbing on railway wagons and touching electrified cables in Te Rapa has been transferred to Middlemore Hospital.
He underwent further surgery yesterday in Auckland and was said to be seriously ill but stable.
