KEY POINTS:
Algerian refugee Ahmed Zaoui has moved his family to their new home in Auckland.
After six weeks at the Mangere Immigration Centre, Mr Zaoui's wife and four sons are beginning their lives as New Zealanders-in-waiting. Their new home is a four-bedroom Housing New Zealand property in south-east Auckland.
The family was reunited in October after objections to Mr Zaoui's refugee status were dropped as the result of an inquiry into circumstances surrounding his security status.
