KEY POINTS:
Next winter Yvonne Bennetti will be hanging up her trademark sequinned cocktail frocks in lieu of 70s-style suiting.
Her next season collection while laced with some serious "I'm with the band" moments also featured a few contradicting 80s-style jackets and Alice in Wonderland skirts.
Despite this new direction, it was her still her signature sexy frocks that ranked Top of the Pops on my highlights list.
BEST IN SHOW: The super-mini leather puff-ball dress. Styling note: Anyone over a size 8 will be required to wear this as a top.
ON MY SHOPPING LIST: A purple chiffon dress with a tiered ruffle hem. Finished to perfection. I will be ordering one in every colour.
TREND ALERT: Think Kate Hudson in Almost Famous meets Melanie Griffith in Working Girl.
NOT SO HOT: Some of samples looked a little unfinished. Loose buttons hung from jackets as if they might drop off at a moment's notice.
BEAUTY FAUX PAX: The models' hair: Frizzy and unpolished.
SUNGLASS OFFENDERS: Five (who when all seated together looked like ducks in a row).
HOTTIE ALERT: Dan Carter turned up again, this time with team-mate Ali Williams causing further distraction ... Focus Bridget, focus!
