Devin "Supertramp" Graham shot a video with more than 50 extras at Zorb.
Rotorua is the star of a new YouTube video featuring Zorbs in an Indiana Jones take-off.
The video, by Devin Super Tramp, who has 3 million YouTube subscribers, shows Zorbs rolling down a hill as people scramble to get away. One by one they're crushed under the giant plastic balls.
More than 50 Rotorua fans and film enthusiasts starred as extras in the action video, which has had more than 763,000 views.
Devin Super Tramp, aka Devin Graham, from Utah in the US, was shooting videos all over New Zealand for his YouTube site Devin Super Tramp in January.
"I have been following [Devin Super Tramp] for about two years on YouTube, they are really cool videos," he said.
Taranaki-based photographer Ben Sarten enjoyed being part of the filming process.
"It's not often you get to do things with that many thousands of dollars of equipment and it's cool seeing Devin, the way he interacts with the fans, it's really cool," he said.
Mr Graham said he had enjoyed his time in New Zealand.
"Everything has been perfect, New Zealand is a magical place.
"Everywhere we travel we get surprised about how many people turn up. So far that's the most rewarding thing about it, we have so many amazing people supporting us," he said. Hugo Kinahan, 18, and Jamie Cunningham, 19, from Northern Ireland, were travelling around the North Island and were stoked to be a part of the video.
"We were nearly in Waihi and then we heard about this so we came straight back down," Mr Kinahan said.
Other activities included sandboarding in Northland and drift trikes and blow karts in Tauranga.
