Youths in court charged with robbing 95-year-old

Two youths appeared in the Hastings Youth Court yesterday charged with the aggravated robbery of 95-year-old Elsie Jones last Sunday in Flaxmere.

Police allege the two, aged 18 and 16, grabbed the frail woman, pushed her to the ground and took her shopping goods. They were remanded on bail without plea until July 25.
