Police have arrested two 17-year-olds after a BB gun was fired at two people on Auckland's North Shore last night.
The two female victims were bruised after being struck by the plastic pellets - one on Rangatira Road in Beach Haven about 6pm and the other on Bentley Avenue in Glenfield four hours later.
The victims told police the shots were fired from a passing vehicle.
Police found and seized the gas powered BB gun and arrested two youths after the incident.
They are due to appear in North Shore District Court next week charged with two counts of recklessly discharging a firearm and one charge each of unlawful possession of an air gun.
