Student wings of political parties are joining forces to oppose a change to the alcohol purchase age.
A parliamentary committee is considering the Alcohol Reform Bill, which proposes splitting the purchase age to 18 for bars and 20 for off-licences.
Act on Campus, the Young Greens, Young Labour and Young Nationals have launched a Keep It 18 campaign, which they say is the first joint submission from the youth wings of the major political parties.
