Several retailers and homes are without power in the upmarket Auckland area of Newmarket this afternoon, the second time in 16 days the area has been hit.
Vector Energy spokeswoman Philippa White said about 1800 customers from the north end of Newmarket to the top of Parnell Rd, less than 1km to the north, lost power about 12.30pm.
