KEY POINTS:
We are in for some more late night viewing of the America's Cup races.
Are you arriving at work tired? Is your boss happy about this?

We try to grab a few hours sleep before racing starts and set the alarm for 1.00 am. But gee whizz - I just wish there were more Michael Barnett-type managers out there! Sadly - there appear to be more of the 'work in a box' type employers that Mr Barnett mentions.
Grant
I agree with Trevor. It is totally sad that an employer would even consider this. If you're going to go down that road why even have hours of work, just let everyone drop in when it suits.
Gone West
Try going to Oz while it is on. I watched it two hours earlier from Sydney (although Live coverage doesn't seem guaranteed).

Pathetic, you're at work to work! Not snooze after staying up half the night to watch sport! New Zealand is sports mad, completely over the top. If I was an employer I would be issuing warnings these people, take leave if you are that passionate about it! Tape it, watch the highlights instead. I also believe that there is too much emphasis on sport in schools. They should concentrate on teaching them things that will help them get on in society and the workplace, not giving meatheads sporting scholarships! They are not heroes, they are underachievers!
Sleepy
Can we also have a pillow and blanket provided on our desks please? Plus could our fellow workers please not work so loudly when we are trying to catch up on our sleep? Lastly, can I wear my PJs?
