Scouts, guides and the Air Training Corps are stepping up for a cemetery beautification next Saturday.
On November 1 cadets from 21 squadron Air Training Corps will join forces with Masterton Scouts and Guides to help straighten up the services' section of Masterton Cemetery between 10am and 12pm.
Masterton RSA president Bob Hill said Masterton Mayor Lyn Patterson had suggested youth groups might like to get involved in the spruce-up.
As well as headstones, the youngsters would work on filling in potholes and depressions among the graves.
The RSA will be putting on a sausage sizzle to fuel the workers.
