KEY POINTS:
Two people died on the roads at the weekend.
Rachel Anne Crook, 23, and Michael Edward Cooper, 17, both of Levin, were killed when the car they were in crashed into a power pole early yesterday.
The accident happened on SH56 near Rangiotu, 17km southwest of Palmerston North.
The driver and a rear-seat passenger survived.
