KEY POINTS:
The National Bank Young Farmer of the Year will be decided tonight.
Seven farmers will line up in the final at the Rotorua Energy Events Centre, each hoping to earn enough points to take home the coveted title.
New Zealand Young Farmer CEO Richard Fitzgerald says they will be putting their bodies on the line trying to beat the clock riding tractors through Slalom courses and hand-milking dairy goats.
Mr Fitzgerald says it is no walk in the paddock, but the winner will be set up for life with a total prize pool worth close to $150,000.
He says for two of the contestants it will be their last shot at the title, as young farmers can only compete twice in the grand final.
