A 13-year-old boy who suffered head injuries when he was hit by a car in Carterton yesterday remains in a stable condition this morning in Wellington Hospital.
Police said the local boy had been riding a bike on Park Road without a helmet about 1pm, and suffered head injuries and possibly broken bones in the crash.
He was airlifted to Wellington Hospital yesterday afternoon in a stable condition.
Capital and Coast DHB senior communications advisor Kim Whitaker said the teen was still in a stable condition this morning.
