The results of a post-mortem examination have failed to shed light on what caused the death of an Auckland teenager yesterday.
A 19-year-old man, who is yet to be officially named by police, was found dead by St John ambulance staff in Henderson about 9am.
Post-mortem results due today were expected to reveal more about the unexplained death on Parma Place, said Detective Senior Sergeant Roger Small.
"A post-mortem has been carried out this morning on the body of the 19-year-old man who died unexpectedly yesterday morning."
The examination has been inconclusive and police are now awaiting further test results to explain how the young man died.
