New Zealand sailors Jo Aleh and Olivia Powrie have ended the qualifying rounds in joint first place at the world 470 championships in the Netherlands.
They share top spot with Italians Giulia Conti and Giovanna Micol. Also through to the gold fleet are Melinda Henshaw and Bianca Barbarich-Bacher, who qualified in 19th place after finishing 12th in yesterday's race.
Geoff Woolley and Dan Willcox and Paul Snow-Hansen and Jason Saunders qualified for the gold fleet after ending the qualification series in 23rd and 27th place respectively.
