Masterton's Judith Wyeth was the big winner at Bowls Wairarapa's end-of-season awards function held at the Masterton Cosmopolitan Club on Saturday night.
Wyeth was named Senior Player of the Year after a stellar summer which saw her win the centre's champion of champions singles and fours titles and skip the winning combination in the open fours.
Playing for Wairarapa at the intercentre tournament in Auckland, Wyeth won three of her five singles matches and she was a member of the Masterton team which won the McKenzie seven's women's interclub competition. She won all four women's titles at the Masterton club - singles, pairs, triples and fours - and also took out the mixed 2-4-2 pairs for good measure.
The Junior Player of the Year award was shared between Steve Willis (Greytown) and Fiona Mancer (Eketahuna) and Walker Bowyer of Eketahuna was the winner of the Outstanding Contribution to Bowls Wairarapa award.
