New Zealand-born World War II heroine Nancy Wake yesterday received the coveted Royal New Zealand RSA badge in gold at an emotional Buckingham Palace ceremony.
The Duke of Edinburgh presented the award to Ms Wake, 94. She was also made a life member of the RNZRSA.
