The demolition of the Daniell Building on Queen St in Masterton on Friday and the weekend drew an audience, including Wairarapa Archivist Gareth Winter, to watch and record its destruction. The building had been earmarked for demolition after it was declared unsafe following the 6.2 magnitude Eketahuna earthquake in January 2014.
