And the Financial Times is reportedly in talks to introduce a "pay-per-article" system inspired by the Apple iTunes model, which could change the culture of reading news on the internet.
In NZ, NBR has already started a subscription model for some of its online content and the New York Times has been canvassing readers to see if they would pay per week to read their online site.
