A would-be prison drug smuggler may find herself behind bars after sampling too much of her own product.
The woman went to Christchurch Men's Prison on Saturday with a car full of drugs and asked for a female inmate. The Corrections Department said the woman's error and her under-the-influence demeanour alerted staff to her activities, the Press reported.
Acting Christchurch Men's Prison manager Trevor Saunders said the cache of drugs was one of the largest he had seen and included cannabis, methamphetamine, heroin, pills and utensils.
