A protest will be held in Wellington tomorrow as part of a worldwide move to create the largest ever protest against child abuse.
A Facebook page called Worldwide Peaceful Protest said 38 countries were taking part in the protest tomorrow to stop child abuse "once and for all".
A smaller New Zealand group has been formed, which planned to meet at the Wellington Railway Station and walk up Lambton Quay at lunchtime.
The event was described as "making our small contribution against this plight of our nation".
Just under 50 people had so far said they would take part in the New Zealand leg of the protest tomorrow.
