Auckland Regional Transport Authority says the report criticising its ability to handle the influx of Rugby World Cup visitors is out of date.
The draft report was written in July last year.
The authority's Rugby World Cup Project Director Bruce Barnard says a great deal of progress has been made since it was written. He says he is confident they have got it right, with plans to run a train between Britomart and Kingsland every five minutes, ferrying 15,000 fans to Eden Park over a 70-minute period, then the same to clear them.
Another two trains will carry 1,400 people to West Auckland and buses will transport another 22,000 people to the games. Mr Barnard estimates another 3,000 people travel go by taxi, while another 3,000 will walk to games.
