About $4.6 million was spent keeping Auckland clean during the Rugby World Cup.
Costing 4.5 per cent of Auckland's overall Rugby World Cup budget, about 310 staff were involved in cleaning, 240 more than were usually employed to clean the region.
Auckland Tourism Events and Economic Development (Ateed) communications manager Simon Roche said a rapid response cleaning crew, supplementary street cleaning, tree maintenance and graffiti management were among the tasks carried out.
The extra tidy programme also included cleaning Fanzones and the Fan Trail.
Plus "men in vans" were employed 24/7 to respond to any services needing to be carried out.
