New Pacific Studio at Mt Bruce will take on a truly international flavour during the next six months.
A Danish author and illustrator is due later this month on a visit funded by the Danish Arts Council, to be followed by a United States artist and a writer, both from Seattle.
Towards the end of the year, a British artist who was born in Hong Kong will visit the studio and in the new year artists from Peru and Chile are due to arrive.
Interspersed with the overseas artists and writers will be visits from prominent NZ artists and writers, including Dunedin's Anita DeSoto, this year's Friends of Aratoi Fellow.
New Pacific Studio's founder Kay Flavell is shifting to live with family in the United States at the end of April.
