Workplace injury measures 'not up to scratch'

Systems to record diseases and injuries sustained in the workplace fall short of internationally accepted practices, says an Occupational Health and Safety advisory committee report.

Committee chairman Neil Pearce said it was unacceptable that the agencies responsible for occupational safety and health were unable to accurately measure how many people were dying or being seriously injured at work.
