A worker on Auckland's $410 million Victoria Park motorway tunnel project was taken to hospital with a suspected broken pelvis yesterday after he was trapped in machinery while unloading pipes. Firefighters were called to free the man, understood to be in his 30s, who was injured about 11.30am beside the Curran St onramp to the Auckland Harbour Bridge, where a water main is being diverted.
