Sparkling green, white and red bits of tinsel, shining fairy lights and little chubby men dressed in red - it must be Christmas.
A Christmas Wonderland has been put together at the Rawene Centre in Birkenhead, in North Shore.
Yesterday volunteers Lynn Briscoe and Ang Weir were among those helping to put the final touches around the place, where up to 150 trees stand decorated from top to toe.
The event started in 2004 and last year about 42,000 people visited the Christmas Wonderland.
The site will be open for 10 days from midday to 10.30pm from November 25 to 29 and again from December 2 to 6. Profits go towards community development.
