Three men escaped with moderate injuries from a car that rolled several times on a Wairarapa farm.
Carterton deputy fire chief Brian Styles said two ambulances, police and firefighters attended the scene at a Ponatahi Rd property about 8am on Tuesday and the three men were out of the vehicle, which crashed while they were travelling to work on the farm.
"They were already out and had moderate injuries. The car had rolled three or four times and it was reasonably damaged."
Mr Styles said firefighters assisted the ambulance crews and two of the men were taken to Wairarapa Hospital for assessment.
Wairarapa traffic Sergeant Chris Megaw told a Wellington newspaper the men had been saved from worse injuries because they were wearing seatbelts when the car rolled.
