Thousands of Britons keen to live and work in New Zealand flocked to the Opportunities New Zealand Expo in London recently.
With more than 30 New Zealand-based companies at the Expo and hundreds of jobs on offer, the Expo was a huge success for employers and visitors.
Increasing numbers of New Zealand employers are looking to the growing immigrant market to fill their skills shortages.
Employers such as Hamilton Jet, ASB and Fletcher Construction and were among those looking for people across the healthcare, education, engineering and construction, education, trades, mining, banking and IT/telecommunications sectors.
Expo organisers Working In are delighted with the success of the first Opportunities New Zealand Expo in London of the year.
In total this year Working In will host four, two-day recruitment expos in the UK this year - in Leeds as well as London - and one for the first time in South Africa in July.
It expects more than 30,000 highly skilled potential British and South African migrants to attend these Expos, with between 5000 and 6000 securing jobs and landing on New Zealand shores within the next 12 months.
Also last weekend, Working In ran two Opportunities Australia Expos, one in Leeds and one in Capetown.
