Supreme Court judge Bill Wilson has failed in his attempt to stop two complainants having a say in a court case.
Retired Court of Appeal judge Sir Edmund Thomas and woolgrowers representatives will have a limited role in Justice Wilson's High Court hearing.
The three judges have given Sir Edmund and the woolgrowers, Saxmere Company and The Escorial Company, interested party status to make written submissions, the Dominion Post reported.
Justice Wilson is trying to stop a judicial conduct panel considering whether to recommend removing him from office. He is alleged to have repeatedly failed to fully disclose a close business relationship with a lawyer who appeared before him in 2007 when he was a Court of Appeal judge.
