Stab wounds received by a woman at a holiday park near Katikati last night are not believed to be life threatening, a police spokesperson said today.
A 42-year-old man has been taken into police custody following the stabbing at the Sapphire Springs Holiday Park at about 7pm yesterday.
Police were
continuing to investigate the stabbing and no charges have been laid.
The woman who received multiple stab wounds was taken to Tauranga Hospital by ambulance.
