Police are investigating the sudden death of a woman on Auckland's North Shore.
The body of the woman, who is aged in her 30s, was found at the Girrawheen Drive address this morning. Officers have begun a forensic examination and have cordoned off the shared driveway to the home.
The cause of death is unknown and the scene will be closed until a pathologist has examined the body on site.
The woman had been living at the address.
Inspector Willie Taylor said the death was being treated as "unexplained" until a cause was established by a pathologist.
Neighbours were being interviewed as part of an ongoing police investigation, he said.
