Police have this morning found a woman's body in the Buller River near Murchison.
The body is yet to be formally identified and police would not comment further, but the body was found in the area where teams have been searching for a missing Wakefield woman, Fairfax reports.
Police dive squad members had today joined the search for Rachel Stokes, 46, who was last seen on Friday.
Ms Stokes' car was found crashed near Kawatiri Junction, southwest of Nelson on State Highway 6 on Friday.
