A woman was rescued off a cliff in Dunedin by a rescue helicopter this morning.
Senior Sergeant Steve Aitken said the woman was winched to safety by a rescue helicopter after getting stuck on a cliff at Cape Saunders just before 9am.
"She was taken straight to Dunedin Hospital ... we don't know the extent of her injuries yet," he said.
Cape Saunders, on the Otago Peninsula, is a popular spot for tourists.
