A Hastings woman who went missing with a 14-year-old girl earlier this year has pleaded guilty to having an unlawful sexual connection with her.
Leeanna Marie Hodgetts, 39, entered guilty pleas when she appeared in Napier District Court this morning.
She also pleaded guilty to a charge of abduction.
In previous months the two had struck up a relationship, but with the police net beginning to close in on Hodgetts, they fled north on May 22, visiting Tauranga, Auckland and Palmerston North.
The victim was eventually located in Havelock North on June 4 and the following day Hodgetts turned herself in at the Featherston police station.
