A home detention report is to be prepared before the sentencing of the mother of two girls who admitted having sex with a 15-year-old boy.
She appeared in Christchurch District Court today, and Judge David Holderness said a report on her suitability for home detention had not been prepared.
He said the likely sentence would not be more than two years jail, and that made home detention an option.
He further remanded her on bail for sentence on May 13 and continued name suppression which had been granted in an appeal to the High Court last week.
The woman admitted having sex with the boy after they consumed alcohol and party pills last September.
