A woman is trapped in a car that was hit by a truck near Auckland International Airport this morning.
Emergency services were called to the crash about 8am at the intersection of George Bolt Memorial Drive and Kirkbride Rd.
A police spokesman said the woman was "reasonably seriously injured" and fire crews were cutting her free from the wreckage.
The busy intersection is controlled by traffic lights. Police were diverting traffic around the crash, warning drivers to expect delays.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
