A 21-year-old woman was taken to hospital this evening following an incident with a stove in Mt Wellington.
The woman has moderate injuries, St John spokesman for the northern region, Robbie Walker, said.
A fire service spokesperson said emergency services were on the scene in Mt Wellington, Auckland, about 6pm.
She would not say what happened, but said "something has happened with a stove".
She said the crew were not fighting a fire.
