Woman stabbed to death in East Tamaki

Police were last night investigating a homicide in East Tamaki after a woman died from stab wounds.

Emergency services arrived about 4pm at a residential property in Tyrone St, Otara, to find a 27-year-old woman dead in her lounge.

Police said they had collected what was believed to be the murder weapon and were looking for a man who left the house shortly after a dispute took place.
