A woman was stabbed in the arm during a fight in the street with another woman in Masterton last night.
Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Miller said police received a call around 8pm. Ambulance staff treated the woman in her 20s, who was bleeding profusely from a stab wound on her arm.
He said she was taken to Wairarapa Hospital and transferred to Wellington Hospital in a stable condition.
Mr Miller said another woman would appear in court this week.
