Woman stabbed in Tauranga

Police are investigating after a woman was apparently stabbed at a Tauranga house this morning.

St John ambulance officers treated the woman in her pyjamas on a stretcher outside the suburban Hairini house before taking her to Tauranga Hospital, The Bay of Plenty Times reported.

Police were examining the scene and questioning neighbours for more information.
